It’s probably no surprise to hear that Castle Combe Circuit’s Autumn Classic racing events see plenty of silverware being dished out to well-deserved drivers each time, but did you know it’s not just on the podium that the trophies are distributed? Once again for 2018’s instalment, a raft of club-based awards will be on offer for the hundreds of vintage car owners showing off their prestigious metal in the paddocks.
Groups based in both the Club Avenue and Club Village sections of the vast static show areas will be competing for a duo awards given out on the day, namely a ‘Car of the Show’ and a ‘Club of the Show’ from each area, which will be announced in the afternoon of the event, set to be held on October 6.
As all Autumn Classic attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive at the event wearing suitably period clothing to match the swarm of vintage cars that take over the circuit, there will also be another fiercely-fought ‘Best Dressed’ award up for grabs this year, too, so choose wisely when scouring your wardrobes for that perfect outfit.
