HRDC Coys Trophy

HRDC ‘COYS TROPHY’ for Touring Cars 1958 – 1966

This is one of the most popularly supported historic Touring Cars series for both competitors and spectators alike.

Here you can see most of the models that raced in the formative years of the BTCC and the ETCC, ranging from the diminutive Austin A35s that harried the leviathan Jaguar Mk.7s of the 1950s to the hard charging Cortinas, Minis and Alfa Romeos that fought off the V-8 power of the mighty Mustangs and Falcons that all typified the Touring Car races of the mid-1960s. In the midst of these epic battles, you will note the presence of the seldom seen ‘TC63’ cars that kicked-off the ETCC in 1963; Alfa Romeo Giulia Supers, Vauxhall VX4/90s and even the occasional sighting of an MG1100!
