Hope for Tomorrow
Hope for Tomorrow is a national charity dedicated to bringing cancer care closer to patients' homes via its Mobile Cancer Care Unit (MCCU) Project. Their ongoing mission is to effectively reduce the long distances of travel and waiting times for treatment that patients often endure, and also help them to avoid the stresses and strains of busy Oncology Centres.
The charity now has 10 MCCUs nationwide and has saved patients over 2.5 million miles and over 200,000 hours in travel and waiting time since their launch in 2007.
Hope for Tomorrow was founded by Christine Mills in December 2003, after she lost her husband David to cancer. Among HFT's Patrons are Sir Stirling Moss OBE, Derek Bell OBE, David Brabham, Martin Brundle and Ross Brawn OBE.
